Anaconda Community Market

As summer unfolds, the Anaconda Community Market becomes a weekly celebration of local flavors and craftsmanship. Each Thursday evening, Main Street transforms into a vibrant hub where neighbors gather to enjoy fresh produce, artisanal goods, and the warm company of fellow community members. It’s more than a market; it’s a testament to Anaconda’s enduring spirit and commitment to sustainability.​

ASC Summer Solstice Pole Bending & Barrel Race

Celebrate the longest day of the year with heart-pounding excitement at the ASC Summer Solstice Pole Bending & Barrel Race, hosted by the Anaconda Saddle Club on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Set against the backdrop of Montana’s expansive skies, this event offers a thrilling showcase of horsemanship and community spirit.​

The evening kicks off with entries opening at 5:00 p.m., followed by Pole Time Onlies at 5:30 p.m. and Pole Bending at 6:15 p.m.. As the sun begins to set, the Barrel Time Onlies commence at 7:00 p.m., leading into the Barrel Race at 7:45 p.m.. Please note that times are approximate and may adjust based on conditions.​

Participants can look forward to added prize money and an 80% payback, making the competition as rewarding as it is exhilarating. The event welcomes riders of all ages, with categories for PeeWee (8 & Under), Youth (14 & Under), and Open divisions. Entry fees are structured to accommodate various levels, ensuring an inclusive environment for newcomers and seasoned riders alike.​

Held from July 18–20 in the historic Washoe Park, this beloved annual event draws artists and visitors from all over the region—and beyond—for what many consider one of the best art shows in southwest Montana.

Expect over 80 juried artists and craft vendors showcasing everything from fine jewelry and ceramics to intricate woodwork and bold, contemporary paintings. The park comes alive with the scent of ethnic foods, the sound of live professional music, and the quiet, happy chatter of families and friends roaming through the stalls, cold drinks in hand. 11th Annual Cameron Sauter Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament

Hosted by the Montana Roofing Association, this beloved event blends the beauty of the game with the power of giving back—raising essential funds for the Cameron Sauter Memorial Scholarship, which supports aspiring Montana roofing professionals.

Held on Thursday, August 7, the tournament invites teams of four to tee off at one of Montana’s most iconic courses, designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus and framed by the smelter stack and sweeping Pintler peaks. It’s a day of big drives, good laughs, and a shared commitment to building a stronger future, one scholarship at a time.
