Feeling grateful to know you in 2025

Hi friends,

As this year comes to a close, I keep finding myself in a quiet kind of awe.

It’s hard to sum up just how much this year has meant to me, but if I try, it comes back to connection. Connecting people in a way that feels real, wholesome, and deeply human. Watching strangers become familiar faces. Feeling the room settle together after a long day. Those small, ordinary moments have been some of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.

And then there was the very first Anaconda Yoga Fest. What an experience!! Some days I still can’t believe I pulled it off, and other days it feels like it was part of some cosmic plan that I simply got to facilitate.

That weekend was pure magic. Celebrating yoga, community, and this town we love felt so deeply right. The energy that carried everyone through those days is something I’ll never forget!! People left absolutely buzzing, and staying connected with so many of you since then has made the vision for the 2026 festival feel even sweeter. It already feels like a celebration I cannot wait to return to.

On a personal level, this year has been quietly transformational. Anaconda Yoga has a way of keeping me honest. It asks me, again and again, to get clear about my guiding principles and to live in alignment with them. It acts like a very large, very squeaky clean mirror, reflecting back the parts of me that need grace, the parts that need fire, and the parts that simply need space to breathe.

Watching people show up for one another in their own unique and essential ways fills my heart so much that sometimes I feel like it’s overflowing. There is so much love here, for each other, for this community, and for ourselves as we keep showing up day after day. To witness your wisdom and grace, to receive it, and to aspire to embody it myself has given me a renewed sense of pride and a deep faith in people.

As we look ahead, I’m filled with excitement for what’s to come. More experiences, more movement, more moments of connection. But most of all, I feel grateful. Grateful to walk this path alongside you, to learn as I go, and to keep building something that feels alive and meaningful.

Thank you for being here. Truly.

It is an absolute honor to share this journey with you.

Much love,

Marquis
